I grew up on something very similar at my grandfather's backyard barbecues. Substituting horseradish for the relish and Tabasco makes for a nice "zingy" alternative, too.

I cut the recipe in half, used the mayonnaise with vinegar option and cut back slightly on the pickle relish and tabasco. I recommend giving it some time to chill before serving. This is a very versatile sauce. Goes with just about everything. So far I have used it to top a roasted chicken breast sandwich.

This is a great sauce! I used mayo with vinegar since I can't get hold of Miracle Whip, and followed the recipe as is, but added in only a couple of drops of hot sauce since I was serving it to my kids. Served it with potato chips (potato fries), fish fingers and chicken nuggets. This one is definitely a keeper. Thanks for sharing! :)

I had to leave the hot sauce out because of bad heartburn :( other than that this was a great universal dip that I used with chicken kabobs! Made for Ramadan Tag.

Great versatile sauce, with just the right balance of flavor and lightness. We dipped chips in it, had it on hot dogs and hamburgers, and over salad and it went well with all of them. The only thing I changed was that I used my own Tofu Mayonaise recipe. It was delicious, and I will be using it all the time Thank you Maya's Mama for a great keeper! Made for Ramadan Tag 2009

This is very good. I usually make something similar but I add mustard. This time I added tabasco and skipped the relish and used it for dipping sauce for Onion Rings. Will definately make again with sour relish for burgers. Thanks.Made for Ramadan Tag 09.

Delicious! I had some left-over white fish that I was planning on making sandwiches with, so I used this as a spread for something a little different, and it was terrific!! I added a hint of chopped fresh cilantro (simply because I had it in my fridge) and it was a terrific match. We loved this sauce! Thanks for posting. Made for Ramadan Tag 2009 :)
