Matzo Brownies With Brandy

"I found this recipe in my grandma's recipe box. She originally cut it out from a magazine."

ingredients

• 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
• 1⁄2 cup margarine
• 2 cups sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 cup matzo cake meal
• 1 tablespoon brandy (or water)
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 cup chopped walnuts

directions

1. Melt chocolate and margarine in a saucepan over low heat. In a mixing bowl, stir together chocolate mixture and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in matzo meal, brandy and salt. Stir in nuts.
2. Pour into a greased 9x9 baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Cool.
