Made this past weekend for a family dinner. I wasn't sure my family would enjoy the garlic as much as I do, so I only kept 2 cloves of garlic for smashing. Really good flavor and simple to pull together. Oh, and I didn't have 1/2 & 1/2 on hand so I used 2% with a small amount of whipping cream - will have to make again using the correct ingredients. DH really liked, they are excellent re-warmed.

Never made mashed potatoes with red ones and it was so much easier to smash. Everyone enjoyed them, but I wish they would have had a more garlic flavor. Regardless, I will try again.

DELICIOUS! :) They are so tasty, I had to stop myself from eating most it. I did add a little bit of shredded cheddar cheese apart from the parmesan. I will definitely make these again.

I was really surprised at how good this was, because I didn't think I would like the parmesan and potato combination. It was really very good and hubby liked it too!

Have made these several times and always good. Granted potatoes fresh out of a garden would be even better, but that aside it certainly livens up the lowly spud. Also took a reviewer's suggestion and added bacon - even better. If you want, like we do, add more garlic.

Try adding a russet potato with the red potatoes..the addition of the russet potato will add a little starch to further enhance the texture....I also like to mash in caramelized onions.
