This recipe is great! I like it better if you omit the parmesean. I only make mashed potatoes with garlic now!
Yum! I made these the other night to serve with chicken and they were really good. I only used one pound of potatoes, as that's all I had, so I adjusted the garlic a little, but still used the same amount of milk & butter. I had some of these left, and reheated them two days later- they were still good then.
These are even better left over, if you can believe that! Wonderfully easy potatoes, will be making my taters this way from now on.
Absolutely delicious!! Made these for supper last night to go with Bev's meat loaf. The only change I made was to throw an extra clove of garlic in. These potatoes were fantastic and I certainly will be making them again! Thanks for sharing!

Well...add us to the list of satisfied, happy people who LOVED these potatoes!!!! Absolutely the best.... and so incredibly easy to make for something that tastes SOOO good!!!! Hubby called them "AWESOME" and I have to agree!I too doubled the garlic, and added a little freshly cracked black pepper when I was whipping these up(did these with my mix master as I do all my mashed potatoes) but other than that followed the recipe exactly....so creamy, yummy good,and as others have said absolutely no need to add any extra butter once they are on your plate....they stand alone!! Although I did snip some fresh chives and sprinkle them over the top once I served them up on our plates...it looked very nice! My two little ones didn't eat any of these(10 months & 3 yrs.)so we have enough left for supper tomorrow night(if they make it that long!)I already can't wait to have these again! This one, I will without a doubt, be making for many years to come! Thanks so much Inez for sharing this great recipe!

Wonderful! I love all of your recipes, this one is no exception! I did not have red potatoes on hand, so I used my Yukon Gold potatoes - turned out great! Easy, had the ingredients on hand, and very tasty - a definite winner! Thanks!
A nice combination and a great alternative for the usual mashed potatoes. Made these with pork steaks and fresh corn on the cob. Perfect summer side dish.
