- Roll marzipan into 24 small balls. Stuff one ball of marzipan into opening in each apricot where pit was removed. Press apricot closed, flattening slightly.
- Melt candy melts as directed on package. Dip each apricot halfway in melted candy. Place on waxed paper. Let stand about 5 minutes or until candy coating is set.
I have made these for Christmas for many years. The combination of flavors is incredible. I have dipped them in dark, milk, and white chocolate. They are even pretty good dipped in almond bark!
My kind of natural, no cook, wonderfully yummy treat! Not too sweet at all, just perfect!
These came together easily and looked great. Unfortunately, everyone in my household found them overwhelmingly sweet - however, if super sweet is your thing, these are definitely worth a try! In the future, I might try something similar, stuffing the apricot with a toasted almond instead of marzipan.
