A friend gave me this recipe and everyone raves about it. She omits the jam and water completely.

- Preheat oven to 325.
- Combine oats, flour, sugar, baking soda, salt. Add oil, egg, vanilla, and juice.
- Press 2/3 of mixture into greased 8 x 12 pan. Mix jam with water and spread evenly over mixture. Crumble remaining oats mixture over top.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Before cutting cool completely.
