These were not what I was expecting, more like a cheese pudding with chillis in. However, considering how easy they are and that they do not require deep frying, I was very happy. They taste very good.
These are very good and easy to make. They puffed very nicely in the oven. We had them for breakfast. Made for 1,2,3 Hit Wonders.
Oh my gosh! This was wonderful! Easy to make, and no mess. I love a good chili relleno, but live too far away to go get it at a restaurant very often. I did exactly as the recipe said, but increased all ingredients by 1/4, as I had a large can of green chilies. Thank you so much, Hill Family, for a fantastic chili relleno recipe! I wouldn't change a thing! I wish I could give it more stars!

Yummy!!!! Made this last night because last week I needed chopped green chilies and the can I opened was whole green chilies so I needed to use them up. These were excellent and definitely a keeper. I had some leftover taco meat and just added it to the batter along with some sliced black olives. Very easy to put together.
