Directions

  1. Mix margarine, peanut butter and powder sugar together and then to form a little balls.
  2. Melt chocolate chips and and shortening.
  3. Roll the little balls in the melted chocolate mixture.
  4. Put on cookie sheet.
  5. Set in fridge to set.
  6. Store in fridge for 2 weeks.

Made these to take on a road trip, and they were gone before we hit the state line!! Easy, yummy, and always a hit!!! I used chunky peanut butter for a little extra crunch, and let the balls sit in the freezer for 15 mins before dipping. Excellent!! Thanks for sharing!! :)

This recipe is great. I took one of the other reviewers suggestion and drizzled the chocolate over the balls. Thanks for the great recipe, and it is so simple to make.

This was a delightfully tastey mess! Temps were over 100 degrees here today, but I was determined to make these. I seemed to have three times the amount of peanut butter mix than I needed, but I did manage to make several yummy looking chocolate covered balls. Making this was finger-licking good! Now...what to do with all that sweet peanut butter mix I have leftover? Made for Potluck Tag.
