- 29.58 ml butter
- 236.59 ml minced celery
- 2 (566.99 g) package white sauce mix
- 473.18 ml half-and-half
- 78.78 ml dry sherry
- 340.19 g crabmeat (fresh, frozen or canned)
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 389.80 g can chicken broth
directions
- In a 3-quart saucepan melt butter and saute celery for 5 minutes or until soft.
- Stir in sauce mix. Gradually stir in half and half.
- Add sherry and broth.
- Stir over low heat until soup bubbles and thickens slightly.
- Stir in crabmeat.
- Simmer 15 minutes longer.
