This bruschetta tastes just as good, if not better, than the kind I eat at a favorite local Italian restaurant. It's such an easy and classic appetizer. It makes a great lunch or snack, too. Thanks for sharing!

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. In a bowl combine the tomatoes, basil, olive oil vinegar and salt. Toss well.
  3. Place the bread on a baking sheet and broil both sides lightly (about 2 min total)
  4. Remove and rub one side with slice of garlic clove.
  5. Arrange bread garlic side up and spoon on topping.
  6. Serve at once.
