Delicious cookies!! I baked mine for 12 minutes and the texture of these was great - a perfect combination of creaminess and firmness. I made 1/2 a batch and got 18 big chocolatey cookies - yum - thanks for sharing your recipe! Made for Spring Pick-A-Chef 2012

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat sugar, butter and corn syrup until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  5. With mixers on low, gradually add flour mixture, beating just until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop dough by tablespoons onto two baking sheets, 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake until cookies are no longer shiny - 10-12 minutes.
  9. Let cool two minutes and transfer to wire rack.
