- 3 tablespoons margarine
- 1 1⁄2 cups small marshmallows
- 1 cup Rice Krispies
- 1 cup Cheerios toasted oat cereal
- 1⁄4-1⁄3 cup salted peanuts
- Melt margarine in top of double boiler. Add marshmallows; stir until melted. Add Rice Crispies, Cheerios and salted peanuts. Stir until all ingredients are combined. Pat down in well greased 8 x 8" pan. Cut into squares when cool.
These are a nice change from regular rice krispie treats. The only change I made was to use cocoa krispies since that is what I could find in the cupboard (DSs love their cereal and go thru it fast!) Made for 2011 Football Pool Win.
