Now what would we do with marshmallow sauce? Top ice cream, peanut butter sandwiches with it, How about body painting can I say that! Use it as a dip for fruit.

Hi, This recipe looks great I just have a few questions before I make it ... How many mini marshmallows will equal 1 1/2 dozen large marshmallows? Is refrigeration recommended and how long before it expires? Also is this a good recipe for marshmallow syrup for lattes? Thank you!

Directions

  1. Place marshmallows in top of double boiler, add cream and heat over simmering water until marshmallows are almost melted.
  2. Add vanilla and continue folding till smooth.
  3. Serve hot, as a sauce.
  4. It thickens as it cools.
