- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate bits
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1⁄2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup chopped nuts
directions
- Combine evaporated milk, sugar and salt in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils; boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add chocolate and vanilla. Stir until melted. Pour half of mixture in waxed-paper-lined 8 x 8-inch dish. Press marshmallows into chocolate. Cover with nuts, then, top with remaining chocolate mixture. Cool and cut into squares.
