This was fabulous--I gave it my personal rating of EXCELLENT, reserved for something I definitely want to make again and again. I didn't have shallots on hand, so I used some Mayan sweet onion instead, and I also used dried shiitake mushrooms because I can't find dried porcini mushrooms in my area that don't cost a fortune. I can't wait to make this again, but then, there are so many other fabulous RecipeZaar recipes calling my name--so many recipes and so little time....oh my!! But this one is at the top of my list--definitely "a keeper" (as DH calls it!).

This was very very good!! I used boneless skinless thighs cause that is what we prefer. I didnt use the porcini mushrooms but this still turned out great. Thanks for posting!!!
