I made this last night to go with some chicken nuggets and I really liked this. My family not so much but I enjoyed it. I will make this again, as I usuallly make a couple of sauces to go with chicken strips. Thank you for sharing this recipe with me, I would have never come up with this combo, it works.
Good. I had found a similar recipe with the addition of honey. That seemed like it would be way too sweet. This was perfect. I really enjoyed it with coconut shrimp. I nuked the marmalade for a few seconds to loosen it up. Thanks ! =)
My husband and I made egg rolls tonight and I found that I didn't have ingredients for a sweet and sour sauce. We had some marmalade, so I found this! It was quick, easy, and yummy. My husband made a very spicy dipping sauce (a garlicy-crushed red pepper type sauce) that I knew would be too hot for my son and this worked great. I thought it was best when we blended the two of them. The garlic and crushed red pepper seemed to tone down the orange rind flavor a bit. It was a great, quick dipping sauce and I will continue to use it as a base. Thank you, KelBel!
This was perfect over the chicken that I made this weekend. It is not too hot and not too sweet....JUST PERFECT!!! Thanks KelBel...another football pool winnder!!!! :)
Easy and Quick, used it with grilled shrimp, went well together, liked the mustard and horseradish in it , they cut the sweetness of the marmalade. Thanks for posting.
Yummmmmmmmy. I pushed the marmalade through a sieve for a smoother sauce and served it with chicken strips...this sauce sure made those store bought (heat 'n serve) chick strips so much better. Thank you.
Had this with chicken nuggets. It was excellent! I will blend it next time-my marmalade had big chunks. Thanks!
loved this with chicken strips thank you for posting dee
Lots of sweet and spicy flavor. Enjoyed with shrimp! I warmed the marmalade in the micro just to make the mixing easier.
