Marinated Grilled Steak - Like the Outback Steakhouse

"Our DD and SIL recently came down for a visit. As a birthday treat, they prepared supper. They served this delicious steak as their entree along with Amarillo Cheese Fries & Dip and a wonderful tossed salad. (Prep. time does not include refrigeration time)."

  1. Something just not right about a sweet steak.

  2. Great flavor!

  3. I just realized that I never rated this one and it's one of our favorites! I use Henry Weinhard's beer and the result is mouthwateringly fantastic! Thanks so much for such a delicious marinade recipe!

  4. You guys must be geniuses to screw up a steak. I am not doubting that this is a good steak but don't call it "Outback" because it's not even close. How do I know..... Oh wait I am a Kitchen Manager at Outback Steakhouse. So K THX BYE

  5. Mouth Watering! Used two 16 ounce ribeyes. Sam Adams stock ale for the beer. These turned out fantastic. The blend of sugar and salt makes for a real WOW! Again, not so sure it is exactly like the Outback, but every bit as good. The first time I have been able to make steaks like a high end steakhouse. I would double the dry rub recipe if you have more than 2 steaks. Thanks for sharing Shelbyrose!!

Hi, there! Thanks a bunch for stopping by. Before I tell you a little about myself, I'd like to start out with a GREAT BIG Thank You to all those who have taken the time to prepare, review and/or photograph my recipes. I wish I could thank each and every one of you personally, but without PM I'm unable to do so. Please know that your reviews and comments are very much appreciated! DH and I are semi-retired and loving it! The kids are grown and on their own, so we've got enough spare time to do the things we really love doing. We enjoy spending time with our four grandkids (pictured above), and also like camping, fishing and boating. As a hobby, we're into woodcrafting and participate in local craft shows and community fairs. We're also both active and involved in our church.
