  • Combine all the ingredients for the marinade in a saucepan, bring to the boil and allow to cool.
  • Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces and place in a glass bowl.
  • Cover with the marinade and marinate for at least 24 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Drain meat, toss in flour and brown in hot oil.
  • Cut pastry into 8 (4 1/2") rounds. Press into 3" muffin cups. Spoon 1/2 cup of the meat mixture into each cup and cover top with pastry. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
