Marinated Artichoke Hearts

"I love seasoned artichoke hearts and could never find the right tangy flavor in jars, so I came up with this very simple marinade. The hearts are good on a toothpick as an appetizer, on subway sandwiches, and baked in crescent dough with cream cheese. I keep them in the fridge all the time."

directions

  • Drain the artichokes and put them into a glass jar or bowl.
  • Mix the Good seasons seasoning with the water and vinegar, then stir in the Olive oil. You may want to add more Vinegar.
  • Pour over artichokes and store in refrigerator. Turn jar occasionally to make sure all the artichokes get some marinating time.
  • Options: Sometimes I add lemon zest to an extra tang. Oh, and I sometimes throw in pepperoncinis and several different kinds of olives to the mix.
