This is a very easy recipe and very flavorful (just the right amount of garlic-not overpowering like some I have tried). I cut it in half with no problem, but the way the recipe is written bothered me. I like to see the ingredient list in the same order as listed in the instructions, but the outcome was great anyway:) I will make the full recipe next time and freeze it for use in the RV.

Perfect. I sauteed 1lb of ground beef with the onions. I used 2 cans of diced tomatoes and 1 can of sauce and cut the salt to 1 tsp. Beautiful sauce, thanks!

This recipe is very similar to my own marinara recipe, except I add about 1/2 cup of red wine and less sugar. I let it cook for about an hour, and served it with roasted zucchini and pasta. Very yummy!

I had so many tomatoes from my veggie garden this year that I made some of this sauce in a large batch and I actually canned it in small jars for later use. It is very good over Eggplant Parmesan, Eggplant Parmesan. I will use it often! Thanks so much for thi wonderful recipe!

This sauce was the perfect compliment to my husband homemade meatballs. We fried the meatballs and then added them to the sauce to simmer. It thickened up the sauce perfectly.

So simple and so delicious. My husband has food allergies and the only store bought marinara he can have is over $8 per jar - this was better by far!!

Made "Perfect Eggplant Parmesan" Perfect Eggplant (Aubergine) Parmesan Secrets with jarred sauce and although it was good, it just tasted blah...made it with JudesP's Marinara and it came to life...it was fabulous. Because we love eggplant parmesan so much, I wasn't giving up. The combination of the two recipes created a masterpiece!

This was excellent! I didn't even bother simmering it for that long but just cooked it for 30-45 minutes. I used the sauce in various diffrent things and each time it was lovely. Thanks!

I made this last month but added some anchovies, sauteed it with the garlic. Added some Italian seasoning as well. Good base to build whatever you like to throw in to kick it up a notch. I simmer it with some fried meatballs to make the sauce more hearty. Great recipe!

Delicious! Used Rotele for the tomatoes. Added mushrooms and a tiny dash of crushed red pepper flakes. Sheer wonderfulness! Thanks.
