I loved this recipe! I wanted more lemon so I increased mine to 1/2 cup of lemon juice and also increased the wine to 3/4 cup. I love my chicken french in a thicker sauce so I also added a little flour & water to the sauce. I have given this recipe out to many friends and family :-)
Fantastic recipe! We really loved this dish, although we did have to make some substitutions due to no white wine. Thank you!
Found this recipe and it is the only chicken french recipe i will EVER use !!! Tastes amazing and is a fan favorite in my household
Great recipe! Made it for my daughter and all of her friends for Jr. Prom dinner, it was a huge hit! Simple and delicious!!
this was just ok to me. Overall I found it to be bland. Too much lemon juice, and needs to be seasoned w/ salt and pepper---I added that to the flour. It was quick and easy, but lacking something, to my palate.
This dish is awesome and easy to make. Thank you very much!
My favorite meal is Chicken French. I thought I needed to find a recipe so I could have it at home. I have been using this receipe for a good while now and it is simple, inexpensive, and delicious. Everyone that I make this for just loves it! The only thing I do differently is double the liquid portion so I have enough to serve over pasta and dip a nice french bread into. Kudos for this receipe.
Yum! Adding more butter next time. Also used a cornstarch slurry to thicken before serving over pasta. Thank you so much!
I made this for supper tonight and my wife and I really enjoyed it. She said she couldn't taste the lemon but I however, thought there was enough. The only change was that I used 1/8 cup Parmesan and 1/8 cup Picorino Romano cheese. Mainly because I prefer Picorino over Parmesan. I plan on trying this with artichokes next! Thanks again!
very good. i thought the sauce was a little strong on the lemon flavor, but i also made the mistake of letting the sauce boil down a little too long, in hopes that it'd get thicker. i will try this again, and maybe cut the lemon juice just a tad, and reduce cooking time. i also substituted egg beaters for the egg, and i thought the egg crust was extremely tasty!
