This was served from time to time as a salad dressing while I waitered in England, EXCELLENT with shrimp (I believe an Irish traditional shrimp sauce)
- Mix Mayonnaise and Ketchup in bowl.
- Add lemon juice and worcestershire sauce to taste.
- Serve over Salad or as Shrimp Dip.
A quick, simple sauce that works for shrimp as well as a veggie dip and a dressing for greens. Suggest chilling for several hours before serving. Made as directed for Think Pink for Cancer Awareness Month Fall 2008.
Yum. I use a *lot* of lemon, personally, but this is so much better and easier than store bought. My personal preference is to use tiny little shrimps, mix them in the sauce, then serve over sliced avocado and lettuce. Fabulous starter.
