  1. This was a very tasty recipe for pork chops. I loved all the onions. I used my Candies which are a sweet onion. I halved the recipe for DH and I. I love sage and rosemary so it had a nice flavor. We love garlic too! The only thing I changd was the ratio of chicken broth to cooking sherry. More broth and less sherry. (I read the reviews so I added more broth) I uncovered mine for the last 15 minutes. Thank you! Jelly :) One thing more, my chops were about 3/4 inch.

  2. Delicious chops. I had 1 inch thick rib chops (think pork prime rib) and they were extremely tender and flavorful. The only reason that I didn't give this recipe 5 stars was that all of the liquid had cooked away leaving a dry brown dish. Since the chops were a full inch I cooked them for 2 hrs @ 325 F. Nothing was burned or darkened at all it's just that all the liquid had evaporated from a baking dish with a well fitting lid. I'd recommend you use well sealed foil to keep the liquid. Made for Comfort Cafe, Jan 09.
