This is a great change of pace for your pancakes.
- In a medium pan heat syrup and applesauce, mixing well.
- Serve warm on warm pancakes.
I scaled this down just for myself. I used fresh pureed granny smiths and sugar-free maple syrup. I used 2 tablespoons of each and just nuked it. I enjoyed it over Bramble's Oatmeal Cottage Cheese Pancakes (#43072). Just wish I had made more. And, per usual, I added a sizable amount of cinnamon. Mmmmmmmmm...nothing like maple syrup, but what's even better is a nice, simple, and tasty variation.
