These are great pancakes! Such great flavor from the maple and walnuts, and surprisingly light and fluffy. Thanks for sharing a lovely breakfast treat! Made for Fall Pick-A-Chef 2011
Delicious! I love to find recipes that taste great and are healthy, too. These were very quick and easy to make. I loved the crunch of the nuts and the sweetness of the maple syrup. I got 11 fluffy, light pancakes that were devoured in no time. **Made for 2015 Culinary Quest (Quebec Canada) for Munching Minions
Delicious and into my best of 2015 recipes file! I love healthy ingredients, but sometimes the end result isn't as tasty as the original. This was not the case here. These pancakes fluffed up beautifully, were full of flavor and I loved, loved, loved the walnut crunch. Easy and delicious. Thank you! Made for CQ2 - Quebec Canada.
~Tasty~ and I enjoyed these pancakes for breakfast yesterday morning. I replace the whole wheat flour with whole wheat pastry flour, ground my own flax seeds, whole milk for 1%, and reduced the amount of maple syrup by half. As others noted, I, too loved the crunch and texture of the flax seeds and the walnuts (although I had to lie to ~Tasty~ and tell her those aren't nuts they are actually crumbled cookies.) ;) Served with scrambled eggs and home fries. Yum! Thank you! Made for CQ 2015.
Love them!!!! The slight crunch from the walnuts and the wholesome and good-for-you ingredients make these pancakes delicious
Made for PRMR.
Great pancakes. I love using flax seed meal in pancakes and the walnuts and maple are added bonuses. Made for Best of 2011 game.
These taste so good and are healthy too. I served mine with apple compote. Delish!
When it comes to recipes like this, I'm always happy to use California walnuts & pure maple syrup! Those two ingredients came together so nicely in these super delicious pancakes! Absolutely wonderful, thanks to your keeper of a recipe! [Tagged & made in Please Review My Recipe]
