Two weeks before Passover and the race was on to rid the house of leavened products, and here I was with two boxes of frozen waffles! Oy vey! .... I am THRILLED to find this recipe! It turned out excellently and the family was delighted. I made my own sausage with ground turkey, but made the rest "eggsactly" as written. Thank you luvmybge for posting! It was great!

Thanks for posting. This was a family pleaser. It was gobbled up. I thought it would be a weird combo cheese and maple syrup but it was delicious. Made as written and it cooked out on the low end of the cooking minutes. Made for the Love Train in the contest and events forum. Enjoy! ChefDLH

This came together beautifully! We really enjoyed it. I was hesitant with it but it sounded so good I had to try it. Sure glad I did! Will surely make this awesome dish again.

I also got this from Cook's Country (I'm a member of the website) and was glad to see you had posted it. I only let this rest for 1 hour because I procrastinated and didn't make it the night before. It was still fine. I was intrigued by the maple flavor (and the maple sausage, which I had never made before). It was easy and turned out well. I served this as "breakfast for dinner" with a side of canned fruit cocktail (I know, I know, but it was in the pantry lol). Although the portions were good, I think I will double the recipe next time. I also think I will use a sharp cheddar next time to enhance the flavor - had to use mild this time.

I don't really make casseroles but needed to bring one to a get together, so I thought I'd try this recipe (and I had some chicken maple sausage on hand that I needed to use). They all really liked it- very different than other breakfast casseroles because it is sweet. Thanks for posting!

I make this every year for my family for Christmas Breakfast. I put it in the oven before opening presents and by the time we are done so is breakfast. Everyone loves it

I had waffles and maple sausage I wanted to use, so this recipe was calling my name! I didn't put the last bit of cheese on the top, used 2% milk cheddar, skim milk, and my whole pound of sausage. This was great!! Next time I am going to try with egg substitute to try and lighten it up further. This is a definite keeper for our house! Thanks for sharing!

Reviews were mixed, but I really liked this! I left out the salt and pepper and used light pancake syrup, but the casserole still had a nice flavor! Good recipe! Thanks!
