The smell alone while baking will drive you crazy. I think I gain weight just from the aroma every time I make this bread.

My daughter uses a similar recipe to make muffins. However she adds 1/4 cup maple syrup in place of the maple extract and doubles the ingredients for the maple glaze.

Delicious! This bread goes together quickly and easily. It has a light maple flavor (most of the maple flavor is in the glaze), and is not too sweet. I only wish that the loaf was a little more moist (it was I bit drier than we prefer). We loved it anyway and I will be making this again. Thank you for sharing. *Made for ZWT4*

I love anything maple flavor...and this was delicious. It broke when I tried getting out of the loaf pan, so didn't glaze it. But it was good anyway. will make it again and do it right this time.
