YUM! These are the best - my friend's all time favorite thing I have ever made for her. I have been making these for years - I got the recipe from Midwest Living Magazine some years ago. This makes a lot, and I always cut them in about 1 inch squares because they are rich, rich, rich. I make them exactly as listed here and they have always turned out excellent. These are great for gift giving in a small tin packed with some crumpled waxed paper. They are really more of a candy than a traditional bar type sweet. High recommended and thanks for posting!
