One of my favorite salad dressings that I make with my dad's home made maple syrup. It's a bit tart/sharp, but very tasty. It does not have to be stored in the refrigerator.
- 3 tablespoons real maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons kame chinese style mustard
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- 3⁄4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- In a 4 cup measure mix mustard with hot water.
- Wisk in syrup, vinegar salt and pepper.
- Wisk in olive oil.
- Serve on your favorite salad.
