Both my 5 year old and husband both liked these. Both my big guy and my little guy ate them all, and my big guy NEVER eats all his carrots!
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1 lb carrot, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Bring water to a boil and add carrots. reduce heat and simmer covered for about 8 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain well and dry carrots. Return carrots to pan.
- Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Stirring constantly, cook for 2-3 minutes or until carrots are glazed. Serve immediately.
YUM!! We all liked these carrots alot! DH, who doesn't really like cooked carrots, ate them without complaint. And DD, who likes cooked carrots was VERY impressed. So these get a 5 star and go into the "KEEPER" folder! Thanks for a great recipe! Tagged for Healthy Choice ABC Tag Game

We so enjoyed these tonight - I used a sugar free maple syrup (for dietry reasons) but otherwise followed recipe and was fully enjoyed by all 3 participants of the meal. Thank you Chef 771187, made for New Kid on the Block.
