Maple Glazed Bacon Pastry Twists

Sweet and savory! These treats are a favorite at the local cafe/bakery near my office. I knew I'd have to figure out how to make them so I can share them with my family.

  • 1 (16 1/3 ounce) package Pillsbury Grands refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (8 count)
  • 8 slices bacon
  • Glaze

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 14 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla


  1. Pastry:.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Roll each biscuit out into a long strand, about 8 to 10 inches in length.
  4. Wrap one slice of bacon around each biscuit strand in a twist.
  5. Twist each strand to tighten slightly.
  6. Bake on each side for 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Glaze:.
  8. Mix powdered sugar, maple syrup and vanilla in a dish; stir until smooth.
  9. Drizzle glaze in a zig-zag motion over the length of each twist.
  10. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  11. Serve warm for best results!
