This made a delicious very light and sweet cup of coffee. I had this for breakfast this morning but left out the whipped cream. I think this would make a nice nonalcoholic after dinner drink too. Made for Comfort Cafe winter 2010.

I too didn't use the whip cream as I only had cool whip in the house and I didn't think it would look that good in the photo. Based on Boomette's review I reduced the amount of maple syrup to 3-tablespoons and it was perfect. Made for Sunner '09 Comfort Cafe tag game.

Very good cup of coffee! Like a maple nut candy bar. I cut the amount of syrup in half to cut down on sugar, but added 1/8th teaspoon of maple flavor (Mapleine) to make up for the lost maple flavor. Worked fine!

I didn't add the whipped cream on top since I used half and half. I really could not taste the maple syrup so added a touch more. I like my coffee black with sweetner unless it is a cold coffee LOL so this was "strange" for me . LOL I think next time I will do this as an iced coffee . Made for 1,2,3 Hit Wonders
UPDATE:
I just did this as an iced version and LOVED it

Oh my goodness, Yummm! Beautifully flavored coffee that will be ideal in fall and winter. I used no sugar added maple syrup and what a smoothness it added. I also used fat free coffee creamer for the half and half. Since Boomie did such a good job of showing the coffee in her pic I thought I'd show a different presentation and made "coffee shots" using a yea set. The small coffee's were really fun and it would be a wonderful way to share this treat with a friend :D.

I did it for 1 serving. Instead of using 3/8 cup half and half, I used 1/8 of it and 2/8 cup whole milk. I used the 1/8 cup maple syrup but with this amount I found it too sweet. Half of it would have been better for me. This coffee has a good taste even though it's sweet. Thanks Lainey. Made for 123 hit wonders

Yowzer, this is an excellant coffee Lainey. What great flavor. A sweet, robust coffee with a lovely mellow taste. I love the flavors that the maple syrup pulls out of the coffee. Thanks so much for sharing. I will be making this one again.
