This is a Fall favorite in my home.... Wonderful on pumpkin, spice or carrot cakes. Passive cook time is to bring cream cheese and butter to room temperature.
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, room temperature
- 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 1⁄2 cups powdered sugar
- 1⁄2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar, maple syrup and vanilla; beat until smooth.
