Excellent, just the right zip. I used leftover chipoltes with not much adobe sauce. Only used half the sauce to marinade and after cooking the salmon in the pan, then we poured the marinade into pan to thicken and served over top. The other half of marinade not used will be tried on either chicken or shrimp.
This was really good. It was both sweet and spicy which I love. Next time I make it I think I will decrease the soy and maybe even the maple but keep the peppers. THis is surely a keeper! Thanks for the great recipe!
This was very good. My dh, however, is not a big fan of our finned friends. So I made chicken for him. He liked it very much. As for me, anything with chipotle is a winner. I loved the simplicity of this dish. We will have it again. I bet it would also taste good on grilled shrimp. Hmmm. Perhaps next time. Thank you very much for the recipe!
I made this with some awesome chinook wild salmon - absolutely divine!!
This is a great way to make salmon when it's too cold to grill outside. I added one pepper, but tried to keep the seeds out since I don't like things too spicy. I will be making this one again.
This is an outstanding, flavourful recipe.I actually used deboned salmon steaks cut into 1 inch chunks and skewered.I also basted the pieces on the barbie. The hungry bunch could not get enough. As my dearest always says,"It's a keeper"
An excellent dish! Salmon is an all time favorite around this house and this will be a wonderful addition to the many ways to prepare it. I did add 1 minced chipotle and next time around may even up that by adding another. We grilled the salmon on the grill, brushed it with the glaze the last couple of minutes and then added additional glaze when serving.
