- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon maple flavoring (optional)

This was incredible, I will use this on weekends for special treats. I just can't imagine why I hadn't thought of this before? Ummmmm....the pumpkin spice, the maple syrup, the brown sugar, I just can't even have stood it much longer without digesting this! I made special little butter patties and put them on regular pancakes that just made them wonderful. I did make this yesterday, and let this sit in fridge so it was quite easy to work with. Thank you so much, Cookiedog! Made for *ZWT4* June 2008.
This is wonderful! I've never had maple butter let alone make it, but I will now. This is yummy. Made for ZWT4 for the Tastebud Tickling Travellers.
Using pumpkin pie spice is a first for me and we all loved it on our morning toast. I did use the Mapleine and found it a bit difficult to incorporate. In the end it all worked out. Made for ZWT4.
