      In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, brown sugar, maple syrup and pumpkin pie spice until well blended. Chill in the refrigerator, for about 30 minutes. Form into a roll using waxed paper and store wrapped. It can be frozen for later at this point if desired.

      This was incredible, I will use this on weekends for special treats. I just can't imagine why I hadn't thought of this before? Ummmmm....the pumpkin spice, the maple syrup, the brown sugar, I just can't even have stood it much longer without digesting this! I made special little butter patties and put them on regular pancakes that just made them wonderful. I did make this yesterday, and let this sit in fridge so it was quite easy to work with.       This is wonderful! I've never had maple butter let alone make it, but I will now. This is yummy. Made for ZWT4 for the Tastebud Tickling Travellers.

      Using pumpkin pie spice is a first for me and we all loved it on our morning toast. I did use the Mapleine and found it a bit difficult to incorporate. In the end it all worked out. Made for ZWT4.
