All I can say is "Wow!!" I made this for our New Year's Eve meal, and it was sooooo good!! I used the broth to make gravy that was sweet and salty and really good over mashed potatoes. I also serve it with Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. I host a annual family Christmas Dinner with Prime Rib, but this year, my family requested ham with this glaze. If it can top Prime Rib for a bunch of Mid-Westerns, then you know its good!! Thanks so much for posting this!!
Wow, what a great recipe, this was so quick, so easy, and was full of flavor. What a beautiful glaze this recipe made. We all enjoyed it very much. Loved the cloves in the glaze, really made it pop. Thanks for sharing a recipe that I will make again, later this week, when we have the rest of the ham, served as ham steaks.
We used this glaze on our spiral ham for Thanksgiving dinner and it really turned out well. The only change I made was to use allspice vs. clove. Will definitely use this glaze again. Thanks for the post.
I used this at Easter for a ham and WOW!, my family loved it. Well last night my son asked if we could try this on Pork Chops and again WOW!. This is going to be my go to glaze for hams, and all other pork that I cook other than ribs.

This is so good! I had a couple of ham steaks that I cooked in a casserole dish with a little brown sugar and water. I let it heat through and then poured out the brown sugar water and spread this glaze on the steaks, covered and baked for 15 minutes. It came out syrupy and thick and the ham had such a great flavor. Will definately make this again!! Made for Football Pool win week #3.

Delicious recipe. My neice, who had to fly to New York to see her mom, asked me if I would pack her some for the plane! I like that if you cut the ham carefully, you can serve non-sweet ham to guests who don't care for sweet. Thanks for sharing, we really enjoyed this.
This glaze was awesome! Came out crunchy on the outside of the ham (just how I like it) I have tried making brown sugar crusted ham before, but it always falls off, the maple syrup really helps to hold it on.. Two thumbs up here!
