Many Layered Salad

"Found this recipe on Allrecipes.com by Nancy. The dressing is unique, and I've changed the veggies to our taste. Please feel free to play with them, but keep the dressing...it's KILLER."

  1. this makes a beautiful salad. i made it in a trifle bowl so you could see all the colorful veggies. the dressing was like the icing on the cake

  2. After reading rave reviews at allrecipes.com and here, I made this salad for Easter dinner and it was a disappointment. Even though I crisped the lettuce ahead of time, the shredded lettuce went limp almost immediately. The dressing was tasty - but I increased the garlic, curry and Parmesan or it would have been bland. If I made it again, I would use torn Romain lettuce instead of shredded Iceberg.

  3. Very good! I made as directed and really enjoyed it! Served with a chile relleno bake, it was just right. Thank you! Made for the Zaar Stars game.

  4. What a amazing salad! I absolutely loved the dressing. I doubled the dressing after testing the flavor and I loved it! :) I thought the curry powder really set the dressing off along with the brown sugar and I ain't much of a curry powder person. It really went good with recipe#152116 . I added some radishes to the layers and put the chopped egg on top and than I added the dressing over the eggs and than ended with parmesan cheese and bacon bits on top. Thanks for sharing the recipe! I know I will make this again :)

  5. This salad was EXCELLENT! I brought it to a dinner party and everyone asked for the recipe. It is beautiful served in a tall glass bowl so all the layers are visible. I was a little concerned about the curry in the dressing, but everyone loved it!
