A Finnish recipe perfect for an easy dessert when strawberries are in season!

This is a great recipe and I used it to top some fresh angel food cake slices. I could not find strawberry juice so I used the advice of another reviewer and pureed some fresh strawberries and created base that way (I know it is not as thin as a juice but it seemed to work well.). I did cut the sugar back as the strawberries were so naturally sweet that I just did not think they needed all the extra white sugar. Thanks for a great recipe!

  1. In a pot we put the juice, the water and the sugar. We wait until the sugar is dissolved stirring a little. Remove from heat.
  2. We wash well the strawberries.
  3. Add the cornstarch in the pot over medium heat stirring well until we have a cream. Then we put the strawberries inches.
  4. Serve!
