This sauce is wonderful with any East Indian meal. If you have lovely hot curry it helps put out the fire. You may also substitute an apple or a peach for the mango


  1. Peel the Mango and dice into 1/2 inch cubes (work over a bowl so you do not lose any juice).
  2. Stir in Yogurt.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl, sprinkle with the Garam Masala and a very few drops of oil.
  4. Serve.

Bergy, I nearly forgot to rate your yummy raita! I loooooooooooved it! I served it together with Carla's Vindaloo (Goan-Style Hot and Sour Pork) Vindaloo (Goan-Style Hot and Sour Pork) and the two work together like a dream! To die for! Thank you so much for this recipe! It's a kepper!
