This sauce is wonderful with any East Indian meal. If you have lovely hot curry it helps put out the fire. You may also substitute an apple or a peach for the mango

Until now I was only a die-hard fan of mangoes, Now, I am a die-hard fan of your mango raita! :) Thank you, loved it and licked my fingers clean!


  1. Peel the Mango and dice into 1/2 inch cubes (work over a bowl so you do not lose any juice).
  2. Stir in Yogurt.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl, sprinkle with the Garam Masala and a very few drops of oil.
  4. Serve.
