Make and share this Mango and Cardamom Lassi recipe from Food.com.
- 120 g mangoes (2 cheeks canned drained)
- 250 ml skim milk (1 cup)
- 260 g yoghurt (1 cup low-fat natural)
- 1 pinch ground cardamom
- Put the mango, milk, yoghurt and cardamom in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Divide between glasses to serve.
I had a 340g bag of frozen diced mango in the freezer so I used that & made a triple batch. ;) the proportions are perfect! I did add a total of about 2tsp cardamom. I really love the stuff & 3 pinches didn't seem enough for me. ;) A really great breakfast; I feel so healthy & virtuous. Made for Aussie Swap 3/12. Thank you!
What a lovely morning drink. Smooth, flavorful and the cardamom is am excellent addition. :D
Really delicious. I loved the subtle taste of the cardamon - gave a healthy shake over the mix before I blended it. Instead of the milk and yogurt, I used kefir which I make at home and use for smoothies and other good things. Frozen mango chunks are always in the freezer and so this was something I can make on demand.
