A very simple, and tasty burger, that grilled up beautifully on the barbecue...simply topped with a little cheese...yum.

Very tasty burger. I like the flavor of the liquid smoke in this burger. I topped it with bacon, cheese, onions, pesto and mayo. Turned out great!! Will make again, thanks for sharing :)
I cut this recipe down to 1 1/4 lbs of burger and so used 1 t. of liquid smoke and 1/8 cup of BBQ Spice. A nice alternative to the standard burger. Since the weather wasn't the best here, I opted to use my cast-iron skillet. I think the grill would have been a better choice to bring the flavor combo out, but DH and DS didn't complain.:-) Made for HolidayTag.
