My wife is a chocolate chip cookie expert, and she says these are the best she's ever had. Much more dense than toll house cookies, but in a good way. Great texture, and they stay soft and chewy. I have a feeling I'll soon know this recipe by memory. Thanks Claire.

These cookies baked very quickly for me and the result was a crisper cookie than I like, however, the taste was really nice. Next time I will just take them out sooner. Thx for sharing.

these were fantastic!! the texture was very nice, dense but chewy. i left the malt out first time because i was looking more for a certain texture than a different taste....however i am definitely trying the malt. these were exactly what i wanted!! will probably half the amount of chips, so i won't feel so bad about eating more than 1!!

The taste is just great! I like thicker choc-chip cookies though, and these were kinda flat. I made them with a not-on-the-market-yet dark chocolate chip product. Will play with this recipe to get the perfect cookie cuz we love the MALT!!!!

I made these out of a taste of home magazine. Very moist, and yummy! I used milk chocolate morsels instead of semi-sweet, because my family likes their chocolate really sweet. I love the light flavor of malt! Awesome cookies!

I'm a sucker for new cookie recipes and this is one I hadn't tried yet. I'm so glad you posted it because it is delicious! The malt really comes through once the cookie is baked. I only baked them for 9-10 minutes and they were perfect - soft and chewy. The one and only thing I didn't like about the cookie is that the color is a medium brown...before my husband tasted them, he thought I had just overcooked my chocolate chip cookies! Wonderful recipe, thanks!
