- 10 large peeled potatoes, cooked
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 6 tablespoons margarine or 6 tablespoons butter, divided
- 2 tablespoons dried minced onions
- 1⁄2 - 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 sprinkling paprika
directions
- Cook Potatoes, drain them and mash them.
- Add sour cream, cream cheese, 4 tablespoons of butter, onion and salt and pepper. Mix until cream cheese and butter are melted.
- Spread in a greased 9 x 13 pan.
- Melt remaining butter and drizzle over potatoes and sprinkle w/ paprika.
- You can refrigerate it or bake it immediately. Baked covered @ 350 for 40 minutes. Then uncover it and bake it 20 minutes longer.
- If you decide to bake later, let the dish stand on counter for 30 minutes to come to room temperature before putting in oven.
