Make Ahead Marinated Chicken Breasts

"I got this recipe from a cookbook and loved it so much I wanted to share it. This is perfect alone or served in a chicken salad. Because there are only the two of us, I divide the recipe into four freezer bags with 2 chicken breast halves in each bag."

  1. Oh these were great! I didn't freeze them but put them in the fridge to marinate over night and grilled them inside..they were so tender and amazing. Thanks for a GREAT chicken recipe..VERY flavorful!

  2. Oh super yum!!! I put it together and froze as directed and got them out yesterday to have for dinner. They didn't defrost in time so I allowed them to marinate all day in the fridge. Broiled them about 10 minutes on each side .... Mmmmmmm!

  3. My family did not love the flavor of these. Although they were full of flavor and tender chicken breasts. It was not my favorite marinade recipe...but did work well.

  4. Awesome! I froze these so I wasn't sure what I was gonna get the day I defrosted them. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised! I'll put this in my Make Ahead rotation for sure. Delicious! Thanks Debby!

  5. A very easy recipe to prepare in the morning and grill quickly for dinner. I didn't freeze mine this time, but I may get some extra chicken breasts ready to freeze for future meals. I do think I will cut back on the rosemary next time as it comes through stronger than the other herbs. I served mine with a potato and Recipe #168208.

I am a happily married to a husband who loves to eat. We have been together for 30 years and were best friends for 7 years prior. We have a beautiful 27 year old daughter who is living with us temporarily. I am a retail consultant who travels all over the U.S. and the UK?and I love my job. My favorite cookbook is Patti Labelle's Recipes to sing about. It is filled with great comfort food (no diet anything in this book). I love both to cook and bake, November and December are the best times in my kitchen. I was raised in a household with 4 generations, so it was customary for the women to spend endless hours cooking and baking. My great grandmother taught me how to bake using a wood burning stove. That is how we made all of our meals until I was about 14 years old. I am truly blessed with a wonderful family both here and beyond.
