This was yummy. I even added walnuts toward the end so I had a crunch with my sauce and fish.

Wow. I don't know if the fish adds to the sauce or what. But I ended up eating all the leftover sauce, it was so good! We didn't use the lemon though. Will definitely make again!

This was a great fish recipe to have on hand! I will definitely try it again--though, the fish was just a touch dry. Perhaps I cooked it too long; I haven't tried Mahi Mahi before. But the sauce was good (my husband wished there was more to put on his rice, so if serving it with rice, you may want to make a little more of the sauce!), and the fish had a nice flavor. Thank you so much for posting!

I thought this was really tasty. I like fish okay and my boyfriend loves it. We both really enjoyed it. I think next time I would use a touch less butter. I used lowfat sour cream and it still was good. I definitely will be cooking this on a regular basis. Thanks.

Yum-O. I am trying to include fish in my diet but my family won't eat it, thus that leaves me lunch as my "fish" meal. I bought "wild" Mahi Mahi (because I read that wild is better than farm raised fish) at Costco, where each piece is individually sealed. Never had Mahi Mahi before but it was a lot cheaper than the "wild" salmon so I gave it a try. I made this just for me with one filet, a 1/4 to 1/2 of an onion, didn't have shallots, a clove of garlic, and a good tablespoon of sour cream for lunch. It was awesome tasting and prepared perfectly as directed. I made it in my medium size non-stick frying pan and it was a very easy clean up too, another bonus. Easily could be served to guests. A definite keeper. Thank you so much for posting it!

I have made this twice now and I'm telling you it is fabulous! My favorite way to cook mahi mahi. It is so easy and I am amazed at the flavor with such simple ingredients. I will be using this recipe from now on. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe, Estradagirl

This dish was absolutely delicious. I have never cooked Mahi until tonight. My intention was to find a good grilled recipe that called for ingredients on hand but very few had normal stocked ingredients. Minus the shallots, we had everything we needed. My husband and I raved at how wonderful this was. Thanks for posting! This would be a perfect dish for a small dinner party as it presents well and is tasty.

This was very tasty. We like fish already, but I'm not much of a fan of white fish. This sauce could be used for any white fish and make it tasty. Great over rice.
