I like just about anything with oats in it. Easy to do and they freeze well. I can see myself making these again.

Wow. These are probably the best muffins I've made yet! I must admit, I did not expect such tastiness from an oatmeal muffin, but I think these tasted almost like regular oatmeal (with sugar) in muffin form! Yum! I don't see where they could be improved on, but I am thinking about using some brown sugar in place of some of the white sugar next time to make another variety that I hope will be equally good.

Very good flavor & easy to make. But, my muffins didn't stay together. They all crumbled.

One of my absolute favorite muffin recipes. These bake up nice and big. Don't wait too long to eat them. I've made these since I was a little girl...ohhh, a loong time ago!

I was searching to post this yummy recipe, an oldie but a goodie. Calls for original MaltOMeal hot wheat cereal (recipe lists instant oats???) which gives the muffins a bit of a grainy texture I love with jam. Can add 1 t vanilla also. I make this especially for the kids as MaltOMeal is fortified and a great source of iron, as well as calcium and folic acid. Thanks, Charlotte, for posting!!
