  • Mix all ingredients in order until flour is moistened.
  • Fill greased muffin tins or paper lined tins 3/4 full.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

  1. I like just about anything with oats in it. Easy to do and they freeze well. I can see myself making these again.

I made these thinking I was making banana muffins kept looking couldn’t find the bananas on the add list....well I added three mashed bananas and 1 cup chocolate chips, different texture with the malto meal but I like them anyway. Originally typed in banana muffins and somehow got this well I went by the seat of my pants after finding out this was not a banana muffin recipe. Three mashed ripe bananas and1 cup chocolate chips and the original recipe nothing else changed, bake til toothpick comes out with crumbs not gooey stuff.
     
  3. I love baking magic muffins they are so good to eat and you can enjoy them in the morning as well all you to is you take 2 or more muffins and broke them in a cup and add some sugar and milk so good to enjoy

  5. Wow. These are probably the best muffins I've made yet! I must admit, I did not expect such tastiness from an oatmeal muffin, but I think these tasted almost like regular oatmeal (with sugar) in muffin form! Yum! I don't see where they could be improved on, but I am thinking about using some brown sugar in place of some of the white sugar next time to make another variety that I hope will be equally good.

Tweaks

  1. Added 3 ripe mashed bananas and 1cup chocolate chips. Bake as directed til done in the center @400degrees.
