  1. Absolutely spectacular! Super easy to throw together and the taste is DYNOmite. Only problem I had was getting the chocolate chips to set up after I took them out of the oven. The next morning they were still soft and sticky. Finally put the pan in the fridge and once they set up, I was able to cut them and put them away. Thanks Gianna, this is going to be a standby.

  2. These bars are delicious I made a batch and brought them to work for all to sample there were none left on the break table.. I have even decided to add more calories to this recipe.. by melting carmel pieces.. and drizzling it over the choc..chips on th bottom layer.. but there great the way they are..

  4. Exactly as I remembered! Thanks for posting this classic. BTW, if you add butterscotch chips, these are called seven-layer bars. But I like 'em better as magic bars.

  5. Nice, rich and easy to do bars.

I learned to cook at an early age, as mom was always making something from "scratch." My experience grew in Boy Scouts where I learned to plan meals for 5 to 10 scouts for up to a week at a time. I have accumulated about three years experience cooking in various restaurants. Currently, I am the head chef at my home in Virginia Beach, where I do all of the cooking for my family.
