Very good! I use butter in place of the butter-flavor Crisco, and used 2 large Spartan apples for this, thanks for sharing Kel!...Kitten:)

I used butter instead of butter flavored crisco. This was so moist. I used rome apples for this. We used it as a breakfast coffee cake! Thanks for posting!

Instead of butter flavor crisco, I used homemade applesauce that had sugar and cinnamon. So I reduced sugar to 1/2 cup. I cooked it 40 minutes. I let it cool down in the pan on a rack for 5 minutes and then I removed it. It's delicious. Thanks KelBel :) Made for Market Tag.

Moist, so very flavorful, a great cake. I used 2 golden Delicious apples that were getting a little soft to make 2 cups. What a yummy way to use up my apples! This will be made again soon! Thank you!
