Smoked mackerel or any smoked fish goes so well with horseradish in this tasty snack.
- 4 bagels, cut in half
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 1⁄2 teaspoon horseradish sauce, creamed
- black pepper
- 8 ounces smoked mackerel
- watercress, roughly chopped
- Mix the curd cheese with the horseradish sauce, season with black pepper and spread on the bagel bases.
- Flake the mackerel on top with some watercress and finish with the bagel tops.
